Butter and Cheese Express

Originally published in 1974 and updated in 1990, this greatly revised and enlarged edition of Butter and Cheese Express expands upon the two earlier editions of this book, adding to the our knowledge of a ten-year experiment in railroad building in central New York. With the addition of Douglas J. Ellison as co-author, these authors have done a thorough job of expanding the narrative and bringing important details to light . Along with a much more comprehensive text, over fifty images and six new town maps have been added, as well as three appendixes, a chronology of important events, and expanded bibliography, and a comprehensive index.
